You Are Not Alone

Have you suffered abuse by David J or John Nadler?

For years, Fox Creek Church (aka Crossroads Church) and Pastor Dave L Nadler allowed numerous victims to be harmed and abused within their walls and more. Claims of sexual abuse and molestation spanning many years, as well as claims of sexual assault. This information has been shared with church leadership and the opportunity to handle this in a more appropriate manner has at this time been rejected. An attorney for the church has even acknowledged that these events likely took place. If you would like a better understanding of what has occurred at Fox Creek Church over the last 29 years, I will detail it below.

David J Nadler is a predator.

John Nadler is a predator.

Dave L and Burney Nadler are complicit.

To date, numerous victims have claimed harm at the hands of these two men.

Pastor Dave L Nadler and Burney Nadler chose their family to the detriment of many.

With knowledge of much of the inappropriate behavior by their sons, it appears they chose to deceive and hide these occurrences. For almost 30 years now, Pastor Dave L Nadler has been derelict in his duties of shepherding and overseeing the flock of Fox Creek Church. Evil was allowed to prey on the children with lifelong impacts of harm. Murky theology and unchecked sin have done nothing to benefit the church, but rather perpetuate even further harm to the entire flock. Every single member of this church body has been wronged by this supposed shepherd.

Pastor Dave L and Burney Nadler have been involved in numerous pursuits that allow unfettered access to children, including Wildwood Hills ranch and Learning RX franchises. Not to mention the public platform of Pulse 101.7fm Radio Station. My investigation includes claims of abuse by both David J Nadler and John Nadler at Wildwood Hills Ranch.

Fox Creek Church under the leadership of Pastor Dave L Nadler has displayed an ongoing pattern of ignoring sin. In doing so, theology and biblical truth have been distorted, even today in Pastor Dave L’s absence as Pastor. The consequences of sin are not spiritual warfare. Sin is meant to be handled with boldness and conviction, not ignored when its inconvenient. Considering this has been an ongoing pattern for almost three decades now, it’s safe to assume that Fox Creek Church is no longer operating in alignment with scripture and Christ’s teachings.

My prayer through this entire process has been for abundant light to shine where it has been dark far too long. The current Fox Creek Elder Board was mailed details of my investigation on January 31, 2022, including challenges to the fitness of Pastor Dave L Nadler as Pastor. Subsequently, Pastor Dave L Nadler resigned immediately, avoiding any accountability for his actions. While he didn’t admit having knowledge of all of the abuse claims, Pastor Dave L Nadler shared in the resignation letter that he did in fact have knowledge of some claims. The claims detailed here are not slanderous accusations nor vindictiveness on display, this is truth.

“There is nothing covered that won’t be uncovered, nothing hidden that won’t be made known. Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in an ear in private rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.” Luke 12:3

Have nothing to do with fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful to even mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. Ephesians 5:11-14

Sadly, at this point in time, there is no abundant light shining where it has been dark too long. I’ve waited and prayed for light, and then waited and prayed some more, all while being offered excuse after excuse. Some Elders mentioned that this information is no longer relevant because many of the victims no longer attend the church. Some question why it’s relevant all these years later. Some even balked at the thought of restitution, care, and the God-given responsibility to shepherd the Fox Creek flock. The pattern of deception and ignoring sin while protecting the Nadler family is continuing. Historically that pattern has been extremely harmful to many, so why is this Elder Board perpetuating the pattern of sin and deception?

I began this journey confident that the godly men who taught me so much about God and the Bible would step in to boldly and courageously offer love and healing; a stark difference from what was experienced so many years ago. Sadly, that is not what I am seeing today. The theology and absolute truth taught to me so many years ago are somehow not being applied to this heartbreaking situation.  My heart grieves yet another missed opportunity to show victims that the church sees us, cares about us, and that we have worth and value to them.

I’ve continued to offer abundant grace in anticipation of the response to all I outlined. I will no longer wait patiently. Because the Elder Board has not handled this in an appropriate manner, I am now sharing this information with the public. The Fox Creek congregation has not been made aware that their shepherd and Pastor operated in such a misaligned and sinful way for almost 30 years. They weren’t even offered a glimpse of the truth as to why he resigned. The flock doesn’t only deserve to know, they need to know.  This is their church, this was their pastor, and the harm was also done to them. This truth gives them the opportunity to pray and process how this has impacted their spiritual walk. This is serious sin in need of serious action.

ADDENDUM: April 10, 2022 the Fox Creek Elder board notified the church congregation of the events of the past few months and claims from the past 30 years. They outlined next steps for victim advocacy and church restructuring.

Many, but not all, of the claims of sexual abuse, sexual molestation, and sexual assault are past the statute of limitations. Despite the expired statute, the police are now aware of the long list of individuals claiming harm by David J Nadler and John Nadler. While the names of survivors are anonymous on this website, they are not anonymous to the police department.

If you too have experienced sexual abuse by David J or John Nadler, you are not alone. There is a community of survivors ready to support and encourage you in your journey of healing. While the statute of limitations has expired for many of our stories, it’s possible it hasn’t for your story. I invite you to contact me if you are a survivor like many of us. Emails come to a private inbox seen only by me, a fellow survivor. Your story, your experience and you as a person matter immensely.

“While society and often even the church downplays the evil of abuse, the righteous anger of God validates the cries of the abused for justice.” Rachel Denhollander

Definition

Wikipedia definition: Sexual abuse, also referred to as molestation, is abusive sexual behavior by one person upon another. It is often perpetrated using force or by taking advantage of another.[1] When force is immediate, of short duration, or infrequent, it is called sexual assault. The offender is referred to as a sexual abuser or (often pejoratively) molester.[2] The term also covers any behavior by an adult or older adolescent towards a child to stimulate any of the involved sexually. The use of a child, or other individuals younger than the age of consent, for sexual stimulation is referred to as child sexual abuse or statutory rape. Live streaming sexual abuse involves trafficking and coerced sexual acts and or rape in real time on webcam.
